Where do cake smash sessions take place? +
Our studio is at 7909 Stapleton Dr, Plano, TX 75025, with sessions by appointment. We welcome families from Dallas, Frisco, Allen, McKinney and across DFW. Contact Marianna to plan your theme and check dates.
Does my baby have to smash the cake? +
The photos are about your baby's expressions and the birthday experience. There is no need to force a particular reaction. We can photograph your baby exploring the setup and cake at their own pace.
What age is best for a cake smash? +
Right around the first birthday (11–13 months) is perfect, when babies can sit up and engage with the cake. Milestone sessions work beautifully at any age.
Do you provide the cake and setup? +
I handle the styled backdrop, props, setup, and cleanup. Cake smash photography captures your baby enjoying and smashing the cake. The cake is not included; please bring your cake and outfits.
How many outfits can we bring? +
Depending on your package, 4–7 outfit changes — a dressed-up look, a themed look, and the cake-smash outfit are favorites.
Can the whole family be in the photos? +
Simple & Sweet is baby only, without parents. Choose a family collection if you would like family portraits as part of the birthday session.
When will we get our photos? +
Your private online gallery is delivered in just 2–5 days, with full high-resolution downloads and a print release included.
