Studio or In-Home Newborn Photography in Plano?
By Marianna · Golden Art Photography · Updated 2026-10-05
Golden Art Photography offers newborn photographs in a Plano studio or in your home. The studio has its own backdrops and props; an in-home session brings the setup to your space. The best choice depends on the setting you prefer and what feels comfortable for your family.
Choose the studio for a prepared setting
The Plano studio provides a controlled space with backdrops, wraps, props and lighting available for the session. You do not need to arrange a room in your home. Before your visit, share the colors and photographs you like so Marianna can help you plan your experience.
Pack the everyday items your baby needs and anything personal you would like to discuss including. If you want parent, sibling or grandparent portraits, choose a package that includes family photographs.
Choose your home for a familiar space
An in-home session can be a comfortable option when you prefer staying with your baby in familiar surroundings. Marianna brings backdrops, props, wraps and lighting. Contact her before booking to discuss your location and the space available for the setup.
In-home newborn setup is an additional $75. Travel over 15 miles from the Plano studio is an additional $75. See the newborn packages and booking details for the complete fees.
What stays the same in either setting?
The approach is gentle and baby-led. Both options focus on your newborn’s expressions and details, with family photographs included in the relevant collections. Simply Baby is baby-only; The Family Story and Deluxe Newborn Experience include family portraits.
Packages include all the best professionally selected and edited high-resolution images, a private online gallery and a print release. Photos are delivered within 2–5 days after the session.
Plan before your baby arrives
Reach out during pregnancy to discuss a due-date window. Golden Art’s newborn session guidance recommends the first 5–14 days for sleepy newborn portraits. Tell Marianna about your circumstances so you can plan together; do not assume a particular date is reserved until your booking is arranged.
